| Michael was born in Roanoke, Virginia and currently resides in Virginia Beach, Virginia. He is a civilian Electrical Engineering Technician who troubleshoots and repairs US Navy ships all over the World. During the past 13 years, as an Elvis Tribute Artist, Michael has performed all over the country and in Canada. In the past he has appeared in contests/festivals in Augusta, Georgia; Toms River, New Jersey; Baltimore, Maryland; Branson, Missouri; Lake George, New York; Virginia Beach, Virginia; Collingwood Canada; Memphis, Tennessee; Dewey Beach, Delaware, Portage, Indiana; and Gaithersburg, Maryland. He was the surprise guest at the 2ND annual Darryl Tapp (Seattle Seahawks) Gentlemen's Expo 2008 on June 27, 2008 in Chesapeake, Va. Michael finished 1st place in the Professional Division at the Elvis Contest held on June 25th, 2004 at the 24th St Oceanfront stage in Virginia Beach, VA. Michael has appeared on several television and radio stations and has been featured in several newspapers. Michael’s love of “Elvis” is shown in his passion when he is singing and performing his tribute to “Elvis”. Michael portrays the concert years with replicating “Elvis” moves. When recently asked by a magazine reporter on why he is a tribute artist, Michael responded by saying: “Two reasons; one is to keep the memory of “Elvis” alive and two; to have fun when I’m performing my tribute show”.
